LEBANESE LADIES SOCIETY IN NIGERIA

The Lebanese Ladies Society, a Charity Organization established in 1995 to assist the needy in Nigeria was on hand to receive Ambassador Hameed Opeloyeru during his visit of Lebanese communities in Nigeria in February 2008.

 In consonance with its objective of promoting communal relations between Lebanese and Nigerians the Society pledged to support the efforts of the Lebanese Nigerian Friendship Association (LENIFRA) which was inaugurated in October 2007 to further the long standing relations between the people of Lebanon and Nigeria.

As part of her numerous socio-cultural activities, Mrs El Khalil is the Patron of the Lebanese Ladies Society. She is also well known in the Lebanese youth circle as the promoter of the annual marathon sporting event.

LEBANESE MEDICAL CENTRE IN KANO  
 A 50-bed Medical Centre is being built in Kano by a Lebanese Company. The ultra modern hospital will provide high quality medical services to the teaming residents of Kano and its environs. The modern and sophisticated equipment installed in the hospital will stand it in good stead to upgrade the standard of health care delivery in Nigeria. The Medical Centre is reported to have technical partnership with the American University Beirut, Risk and St George Medical Centre which offer qualitative medical services in Lebanon.

جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات في نيجيريا

أسست جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات الخيرية عام 1995، لمساعدة المحتاجين في نيجيريا، وتشرفت باستقبال السفير حميد أبالويرو خلال زيارته للجاليات اللبنانية في نيجريا في شهر شباط 2008. وتسعى هذه الجمعية إلى تعزيز العلاقات المجتمعية بين اللبنانيين والنيجيريين، لذلك فهي تدعم جهود جمعية الصداقة اللبنانية النيجيرية، التي تأسست في تشرين الأول 2007، بهدف متابعة العلاقات الطويلة الأمد بين شعبي لبنان ونيجيريا.

كجزءٍ من نشاطاتها الاجتماعية والثقافية، تترأس السيدة الخليل جمعية السيدات اللبنانيات، وهي معروفةً جداً في محيط الشباب اللبناني، إذ إنّها منظمة مسابقة الماراتون الرياضية السنوية.

المركز الطبي اللبناني في كانو
