The First Lebanese Nigerian Cultural Festival in Beirut The Lebanese Nigerian Friendship Association held its first Lebanese Nigerian Cultural Festival on 20 and 21 October 2007. The fiesta was held at UNESCO building in Beirut, Lebanon and featured display of Nigerian artworks, dances and cuisine. A Photo Gallery from the rich, personal and commemorative collections of members of the community was also displayed. More than 30 prizes were won by participants in the ensuing Raffle Draw. The event achieved the main objective of popularising Nigeria and its rich culture within the Lebanese community. This cultural event is planned to take place annually and would be cover various social, educational and cultural activities, including symposia and exchanges among educational and cultural institutions in both countries.

المهرجان الثقافي اللبناني النيجيري الأول في بيروت: نظمت جمعية الصداقة اللبنانية النيجيرية مهرجانها الثقافي الأول، في 20 – 21 تشرين الأول 2007، في مبنى الأونيسكو، حيث تمّ عرض أعمال فنية، ورقصات، ومأكولات نيجيرية، إضافةً إلى الصور التذكارية الواردة من مختلف أعضاء الجمعية. ووزعت أكثر من 30 جائزة على المشاركين في مسابقة اليانصيب. وحققت هذه المناسبة هدفها الأساسي، ألا وهو نشر الثقافة النيجيرية في الأوساط اللبنانية. ومن المتوقع أنّ ينظم هذا المهرجان سنوياً، لتغطية العديد من الأنشطة الاجتماعية، والتربوية، والثقافية، ومن ضمنها ندوات اكاديمية وثقافية في البلدين.
